Who this is for
FERS Planner is built for non-USPS federal employees who want a clearer planning workflow before they make retirement timing decisions.
The MVP focuses on regular immediate retirement, MRA+10 immediate, MRA+10 postponed, and deferred retirement. It does not support disability, special provision, USPS/PSHB, or CSRS component cases.
What makes the product different
The product is subscription-first because saved planning work, scenario comparison, and review history matter more than a one-off estimate.
The design intentionally avoids looking like a government website. Trust comes from clear boundaries, source links, disclosures, and deterministic rules.
What to do with results
Use results to organize questions, compare dates, and understand planning tradeoffs. Do not treat them as OPM determinations or personalized financial advice.
